The Human body´s nervous System
The human body´s nervous system comprises the brain, spinalcord, and nerves connected to the brain and spinal cord with other parts of the body. The work of the nervous system focuses on the owner ship of the electrical excitation of neurons and interconnections with other neurons
The nervous system is a complex network of interconnected excitable cells. These cells, called neurons, are capable of transmiting an electrochemical signal when they are stimulated in an appropriate way. Normally the neuronshave inside a slightly negative electrical potential (relative ti the outside) and reserve momentarily, during the trasmission of the nerve impulse.
The peripheral nervous system is formed by the somatic system that controls the voluntary movements; and by theautonomous or visceral system, which controls involuntary movements. The latter, in turn, is divided into the system parasympathetic and sympathetic,
The nervous system is composed of two parts united integrally. The brain and nervous system have multiple functions that are vital to the normal functioning of the body. That is why it is important to control our nervous impulses in order to have good health.

Hey Vane, I find this topic interesting, but I have a question, what does it mean that neurons have a slightly negative electrical potential? I hope you can answer me, thanks.
